banana muffins with a marshmallow and coconut twist...

so i had 3 bananas which i hadn't eaten sitting staring at me in the cupboard, it made me think about mother hubbard...she'd make a perfect banana bread or a smoothie or something delicious, so i decided to have a go. Penny had a little banana muffin recipe, i added coconut and marshmallows, and they actually worked! haha x could do with some icing and a bit of decoration, but they do the job; iv gone for the rustic look. x

so, watching ocean giants on tv, with a brew...as the sun disappeared for the day, this was our view...

a suprise package...

it's always nice to receive a parcel, especially from my beautiful sister! how exciting x

clouds accross the mountain...

So its a beautiful day here in Kaikoura, the sky is blue and the sun is shining, we may not be operating today with the dolphin swimming as there is an increasing southerly. i watched the clouds move accross the mountain whilst having breakfast, just beautiful.

Tramping up Mt. Fyffe :-)

woke up and had weetabix and toast and a brew....donned the walking boots and slapped on the suncream! made are way to the car park and started our adventure...

 

some CRAAAAAZY MEN decided to mountain bike down...very scary.

we set off at 9:30am....with lots of stops along the way...extremely difficult during the first 10 mins, but we got through it, all thanks to rasberry flavoured liquorice.

 

A beautiful day, blue skys and snow caps...
