Mt. Cook in all its glory :-)

From Queenstown we made our way to Mt. Cook, the place was incredible, at 3,754m, it is the highest mountain in New Zealand. The scenery was beautiful, we were very lucky with the weather with clear blue skies and warm sunshine. We went on a 3 hour walk which took us through the Hooker valley, we crossed the Hooker river via 2 swing bridges. The surroundings were vast mountainous landscape, the track eventually bought us out to the Hooker valley glacier lake. Here is a perfect opportunity for photos and to just stand for a few minutes and take it all in.
